This week’s City Scene is only a boat ride away, capturing a shack perched on the beloved Abrolhos Islands.

This dwelling is situated on Post Office Island, where a family-run pearl farm was established. Jane Liddon and her family offer tours around the island, including snorkelling opportunities through the almost untouched coral and clear waters.

Photographer Joshua Miles is a Western Australian traveller working at Northwest Tug Management. Spending his time out at sea, he uses a DJI drone to capture coastal images around Western Australia from Port Headland to Geraldton.

Mr Miles said he was stoked when he was able to collaborate with the City of Greater Geraldton having one of his drone images featured on buses throughout Perth.

You can find more photos of the Abrolhos Islands, secluded coastal beaches and whale photography at Mr Miles Instagram account @joshtaj1979.
