The Geraldton Harriers hosted their annual RunFest and Marathon event on July 1 along the Geraldton foreshore.

Participation numbers across all categories were strong — particularly in the junior events, which more than 150 kids entered.

Event co-ordinator Lois Garner said she was really happy with the turnout and was keen to further enhance the profile of the event in coming years. It was also a special day for F45 Training Geraldton, who took out the RunFurther team challenge. With the victory, they donated $1000 to Mid West Charity Begins at Home.
