Concerns held for missing Spalding man

Police hold concerns for the welfare of a missing 63-year-old Spalding man, who suffers dementia.

Douglas William Cooper was last seen at his home about 1pm yesterday.

He is described as dark skinned, 165cm tall, of slim build, with grey hair, bald on the top of his head, beard and moustache.

He has a scar on the bridge of his nose.

He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved dress shirt, blue denim jeans, black thongs, and a black “bucket hat” with “Cooper” in white writing on the front.

A police spokesman said Mr Cooper was known to frequent the Geraldton CBD.

He said Geraldton police were urgently seeking information regarding his whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Mr Cooper is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.

Police said no photograph of Mr Cooper was available at this time.
