Construction of the North West Coastal Highway-Hosken Street roundabout will begin on Thursday, April 26.

During the works Hosken Street, between North West Coastal Highway and Chapman Road, the Strickland Street cul-de-sac and a section of Strickland Street, south of Horan Road, will be closed until July 31.

Detours will be in place and North West Coastal Highway will remain open, with one lane in each direction.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti said in January, the $4.7 million roundabout construction project was expected to create more than 28 direct jobs over a 14-week construction period.
