The search for a Leeman man missing off the coast of Arrowsmith in the Mid West for a month continues, with police assuring locals the matter is being treated as a priority.

Corrie Feehan, 47, who was last sighted about 9am on April 26, was paddling a blue and white kayak in a northerly direction along the coast near Fresh Water Point when he disappeared. Despite an extensive land and sea operation, he remains unaccounted for.

Mr Feehan is described as being about 175cm tall, of medium build, with green eyes, shoulder-length brown hair, a beard and a moustache.

In a post to social media, WA Police acknowledged “community tensions in Leeman surrounding this matter and provide reassurance that this investigation is being treated as a priority”.

Police are appealing for any information that may assist in locating Mr Feehan. Anyone who may have seen him or has knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
