Denison White took the win in the women’s division one pennants final on Wednesday, while Geraldton Gold claimed the division two win at the Geraldton Bowling Club.

After a long season, the Batavia Bowling League ladies’ pennants reached their peak with the semifinals on Tuesday before the grand finals on Wednesday.

The first-division semifinals on Tuesday saw Geraldton Blue taking on Wonthella Maroon in a clash of third v fourth, while Denison White faced Denison Blue as the top two teams faced off.

Denison White won their match 33-29 for a spot in the grand final, while Geraldton Blue knocked out Wonthella Maroon 46-31, sending them to face Denison Blue for the remaining spot in the decider.

Denison Blue dominated Geraldton Blue in the preliminary final and they walked into the grand final with a 58-24 win.

Denison was guaranteed a win, with the final clash between White and Blue.

In the rematch between the two Denison sides on Wednesday, the results didn’t change as White won the final 41-19 over Blue.

There was also a guaranteed win in the division-two grand final — for Geraldton this time — in a clash between Gold and Blue.

It was Gold that claimed the win, beating Blue 48-26 for the division-two flag.
