A Geraldton woman has been accused of creating child exploitation material and sharing it online. Desserae Lesley Cashin, 31, appeared in Geraldton Magistrates Court on Friday from custody on charges of producing and distributing child exploitation material. Police prosecutor Sen. Const. Paul White told the court the material had been shared to a co-accused through social media in written form. Magistrate Felicity Zempilas granted Ms Cashin bail with the protective conditions that she not access social media unless required to for work, health or banking reasons. The protective bail conditions also include the requirement to surrender any devices that can access the internet upon police request and to report to the local station twice a week. Ms Cashin is due to appear again in court on May 15.
