A 29-year-old Mount Magnet man is facing several charges after he was allegedly caught drink driving with a suspended licence and four unrestrained children in his car on Boxing Day.

Police will allege the man blew 0.195 when he was stopped for a random breath test on Main Street, Meekatharra, about 3pm.

It will also be alleged that two two-year-olds, a three-year-old, and a seven-year-old were all unrestrained in his Holden Commodore sedan.

The man was ordered to surrender his vehicle within seven days.

He was charged with high range drink driving, no authority to drive, and failing to correctly restrain four passengers under 16 years old.

He will face Meekatharra Magistrate’s Court on January 17.
