Drugs, cash, weapons seized

Three people have been charged after police seized drugs, cash and weapons at a Geraldton property.

Police found 114 grams of cannabis, $6000 cash, a live 12 gauge shotgun cartridge and weapons when they executed a search warrant on a Utakarra property about 7pm on Friday.

Police will allege the cannabis was prepared in a way that was ready to supply.

A 31-year-old Utakarra woman has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 30-year-old Utakarra man has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of unlicensed ammunition.

An 18-year-old Bedford woman has also been charged with possession of a prohibited drug.

All three will appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
