Expert to talk on film restoration

Geraldton Guardian

A film restoration expert will share some tips of the trade at a free talk at the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery tomorrow.

Elena Guest is the restores project manager of the National Film and Sound Archive, and digitises, restores and preserves classic and cult Australian films so they can be viewed in modern digital cinemas.

The talk will coincide with the last day of the Starstruck: Australian Movie Portraits exhibition.

It will start at 1pm and will be followed by a screening of 1979 film My Brilliant Career.

Book via eventbrite.com.au or call the gallery on 9956 6750.
