After Falcons had pushed the Lightning all the way in round three, their match on Tuesday against the Pumas was perhaps one of their better opportunities to get a win for the first time in more than a year.

However, despite another gritty performance which has seen them avoid blowouts they suffered last year they still ended up on the losing side as Pumas won 41-33.

It leaves the Falcons at the bottom while Pumas stay in third place.

In the later game contrary to the Falcon’s fortunes Aztecs continue to post victories with a 56-33 win over the Lightning.

It’s almost a mechanical efficiency to the team that has not tasted defeat in more than two years as they look for an unprecedented three perfect seasons.

Kazuals had the bye this week but will be back in action next Tuesday against the Flacons while Pumas will face the might of the Aztecs.
