Footpath upgrade for Lester Avenue

Work will begin tomorrow on replacing a section of footpath in Lester Avenue, Geraldton.

The work, between Marine Terrace and Fitzgerald Street, will take around six weeks to complete.

Expected work hours will be between 7am and 6pm.

The City of Greater Geraldton asks people to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions in the area.

Works will include removing the slab path and replacing it with a user-friendly concrete path.

The work is part of $941,600 allocated in the City’s 2017/18 budget to replace more than 1km of footpaths.
