Fourteen-year-old Geraldton boy pleads guilty to three counts of steal motor vehicle after late-night spree

A teenager has pleaded guilty in Geraldton Magistrates Court after stealing two cars, a motorcycle, and a tub of confectionery in Geraldton over the course of several weeks. The 14-year-old appeared in court on Tuesday morning facing multiple charges, including three counts of stealing a motor vehicle, and one of criminal damage. He also pleaded guilty to one charge of stealing for the theft, on April 11, of a container of lollies valued at more than $100 from Delicious on Green. On March 15, he stole a motorcycle from a home in Sunset Beach valued at more than $1000. In the early hours of April 11, in Glenfield, the teenager stole a Holden Cruz, before attending another address and stealing a Toyota Fortuner. On the same day, the boy wilfully damaged the front left window of a Nissan Navarra. The teenager entered guilty pleas to three charges of stealing a motor vehicle, as well as criminal damage and driving without a licence. He will stand trial in two weeks for another charge of aggravated home burglary, assault occasioning bodily harm, and being armed in a way that may cause fear.
