A woman accused of 35 cases of fraud picked the wrong spot to drive her car – near a police station.

Police stopped the 26-year-old in Mullewa last week and found she was driving without a licence.

Mullewa Police Station officer-in-charge, Sergeant Ron Pace, said further inquiries revealed the woman was wanted for questioning in relation to 30 alleged fraud offences in Perth and five alleged fraud offences in Geraldton.

She was charged with unlicensed driving and 35 counts of fraud.

She was bailed to appear before Mullewa Magistrate’s Court next month.
