Geraldton and Mid West businesses in finals of WA Tourism Awards

The Mid West tourism industry will be well represented this year at the prestigious Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.

Now in its 47th year, the awards celebrate and recognise business excellence, innovation and outstanding customer service by tourism operators.

Eco Abrolhos and Coral Coast Helicopter Services are among nine finalists in the Tour & Transport Operators category.

Both companies are also in the running for the Adventure Tourism category, alongside Skydive Jurien Bay and Ultimate Watersports.

The RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is one of two finalists vying for the Caravan & Holiday Parks award.

Skeetas Restaurant & Café in Geraldton is up for the Excellence in Chinese Tourism top gong.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Crown Perth on November 9.

Gold medal winners in 25 categories will go on to represent the state at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, held in Canberra in March.
