Four Geraldton artists have teamed up to put together an exhibition this weekend at the Railway Health Hub.

The ‘reconnect 4’ exhibition will feature works from Jane Barndon, Chris Bolton, Steve Davidson and Cam Fitzgerald.

Barndon said exhibition space in Geraldton was a little bit limited so they had to find creative ways to get their work out there.

“One of the ways that we found is if we came up and put a show on for a weekend, that gives us pretty good reach.” she said.

“Especially being at the Railway Station building, we can then make the most of the markets and that kind of thing.”

Barndon said the group had success last year with a similar exhibition titled ‘connect 4’ and decided to do it again this year.

“I think the four of us have very, very different work. Steve works with ceramics and a bit of printmaking, Chris works with mostly textiles. Ken is a drawer and I’m a little bit eclectic. As far as style and so on so we’re all very different; we don’t have a theme,” she said.

“It’s just a lovely collection of four very different kinds of work but they just really seem to complement each other.”

The reconnect 4 art exhibition will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday (June 11) and 8am to 4pm on Sunday (June 12) at the Railway Health Hub.
