Geraldton Easter family fun day on the foreshore delights kids and adults alike

Geraldton children and families got a head start on Easter celebrations on Thursday with a fun day out on the foreshore filled with egg hunts, prizes, treats and even an appearance by a special rabbit.
As families prepare to embark on the Easter long weekend, Geraldton radio station Hit FM hosted the family friendly morning Easter extravaganza outside Dome Cafe.
With radio presenter Alex Dugan broadcasting live from 9am, there were a buzz in the atmosphere and loads of activities for the little ones to get involved in.

From face painting done by the fabulous Fairy Jo to sights of animal riders and the popular Easter Bunny, laughter was in the air.
Other activities included a bean bag toss and an extraordinary Easter egg hunt with lots of prizes and treats.

With plenty of chocolates to fill the little ones’ bellies, it was the perfect precursor before the Easter traditions began over the four days from Good Friday.

Many young families and friends showed up to have a fun and cheap morning out, getting ready for the Easter break and school holidays.
