Four Geraldton businesses have taken out the City of Greater Geraldton’s 2018 Five Star Food Safety Awards.

The rating system ranks businesses from three to five stars based on a strict hygiene criteria and those with the highest scores are crowned the food safety award winners.

Malaysian restaurant Sania’s Kitchen took out the Restaurant Category, while the Sail Inn Snack Bar won the Take Away Category.

Rangeway Primary School topped the School Canteen Category, and Goodstart Early Learning won the Child Card Category.

The businesses are now able to display stickers advertising their official 2018 star rating.
