Work will begin tomorrow to replace a section of footpath on Shenton Street, between Burges Street and Francis Street, in Geraldton.

The work will take place between 7am and 6pm and is expected to take about four weeks to complete.

It is part of about 1.14km of footpaths set to be replaced after the City of Greater Geraldton allocated $941,600 in the 2017/18 Budget for the renewal of footpaths.

The City of Greater Geraldton has asked that people exercise caution in the area for the duration of the renewal works.
