Geraldton Foreshore Hangout Lounge hosts 99 Trivia with DJ and prizes for all demographics every Thursday

New trivia hosts will provide a free space for all demographics to laugh, sing and dance while they quiz themselves at one of Geraldton’s newest venues. Starting from this week, every Thursday from 6.30pm, 99 Trivia will host Geraldton’s newest quiz night at the Foreshore Hangout Lounge. Join the hosts and the house DJ Killa for classic pen and paper trivia, with $100 first place, $50 for second-place prizes and three $25 vouchers to be handed out for future games to be won. The Foreshore Hangout Lounge manager Ashleigh Green said the venue hoped to see families and people of all ages join in on the Thursday night fun. “We hope to see people coming down to have some meals and support a new business,” she said. “It’s for all ages, for small or large groups of people.” Ms Green said although trivia nights weren’t new to Geraldton, she was confident it would attract customers and eventually become a sell-out event. “We want to make sure everyone feels welcome to the venue and everyone comes and has fun with the trivia.” DJ Killani Barton (or Killa) said previous sets at the Foreshore were a success and couldn’t say no to being involved in the trivia when he was approached. “It’s a great location for an event like this and I hope people get around it. I’ll be playing a few throwbacks, some house music and singalongs,” he said. “I hope that people come down for a look, have a drink or two, test their knowledge and have a good night.”
