Geraldton man accused of wielding replica gun in robbery
A father-of-three appeared in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court today accused of holding a replica firearm to a man’s head during an armed robbery in Rangeway last Thursday.
Kirk Aaron Dorizzi, 29, and his brother Timothy Darren Dorizzi, 31, have both been charged with aggravated armed robbery over the alleged incident.
Magistrate Chris Miocevich today told Kirk Dorizzi – who has yet to enter a plea – that there was a “strong likelihood” he would be jailed if convicted.
Dorizzi was remanded in custody at Greenough Regional Prison and will reappear in the same court by video link tomorrow.
