Geraldton man admits spreading revenge porn

A Geraldton man has admitted circulating revenge porn — and then trying to coerce his former partner to drop the charges. Jason Alan Golding, 31, last week also admitted breaking into the same woman’s home on November 21 and “detaining” her. Golding pleaded guilty in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on Thursday to nine offences, including two counts of distributing an intimate image of another person without consent, aggravated home burglary and commit, and deprivation of liberty. He has also pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking, attempting to pervert justice, three breaches of a restraining order, and possession of methamphetamine, cannabis and a prohibited weapon. Magistrate Chris Miocevich adjourned the matters and remanded Golding in custody at Greenough Regional Prison. He is due to reappear in court in June.
