Geraldton Netball round 3 wrap: Pumas win big against Lightning

Pumas defeated Lightning 49-27 in round three of the Geraldton Netball Association’s senior one netball division on Tuesday night.

The Pumas led at the first quarter-time break and extended their lead in the second quarter, going into half-time at 32-14.

Lightning were unable to come back in the third and fourth quarters, going down by 22 point to last year’s grand finalists.

This was the only game of the round, as Aztecs’ game against Falcons was cancelled due to COVID.

The game has been rescheduled to Friday, June 17.

Kazuals had a bye for the round.
