West Coast Fever are set to make limited changes to the team that made this year’s preliminary final, with Geraldton’s Emma Cosh understood to be among a majority of the squad re-signing under new coach Dan Ryan.

The Fever have already locked away their attack for the next two seasons, with dynamic goal attack Sasha Glasgow re-signing.

English import Stacey Francis-Bayman, Sunday Aryang and Jess Anstiss are also understood to be staying.

The Fever have officially confirmed the signing of former Queensland Firebirds defender Rudi Ellis as their big acquisition of this off-season.

Ellis has signed a two-year deal to play for the WA club which will see her live in the State her partner, Western Bulldogs ruckman Tim English, was raised in.

The 24-year-old joins Fever after two seasons and 17 games for the Firebirds and was named in the 2021-22 Australian Development Squad.

The Fever have confirmed defender Olivia Lewis would be departing. Lewis played 27 games after joining Fever as a training partner in 2017, making her debut in 2019 after becoming a fully contracted player.

The 22-year-old played just eight games this season, with the captain Courtney Bruce and rising star Sunday Aryang forming a formidable defensive combination.

Lewis has signed a one-year deal at the Melbourne Vixens.
