The Fever have officially confirmed the signing of former Queensland Firebirds defender Rudi Ellis as their big acquisition of this off-season.
Ellis has signed a two-year deal to play for the WA club which will see her live in the State her partner, Western Bulldogs ruckman Tim English, was raised in.
The 24-year-old joins Fever after two seasons and 17 games for the Firebirds and was named in the 2021-22 Australian Development Squad.
The Fever have confirmed defender Olivia Lewis would be departing. Lewis played 27 games after joining Fever as a training partner in 2017, making her debut in 2019 after becoming a fully contracted player.

Lewis has signed a one-year deal at the Melbourne Vixens.
