Geraldton-owned champion galloper Black Heart Bart on track for return

Bart is nearly back. Geraldton-owned galloper Black Heart Bart only has to complete a barrier trial before he is out of retirement and racing again.

The eight-year-old $4 million winner is being trained by Perth horseman Lindsey Smith at Warrnambool.

“He passed a vet exam and is going a million miles an hour,” managing owner Kim Renner said.

“All well, he’ll start in Melbourne in early August.”
