Geraldton police have charged a man in his 20s after allegedly seizing a stolen motorbike, power tools, a replica handgun and a variety of drugs in his possession following a house raid. Acting officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Andrew Ramsden said police executed a search warrant at an address in Spalding on Sunday and allegedly uncovered a “large amount of suspected stolen property” including a motorbike, a quantity of power tools and a replica handgun. He said the next day a quantity of prohibited drugs including cannabis, methylamphetamine, steroids and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in the accused man’s possession. Police did not confirm the quantity of illicit drugs or power tools seized. A 29-year-old man from Spalding was charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property, possession of a controlled weapon, possession of prohibited drug and possession of drug paraphernalia and is due to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court next month.
