Geraldton police seek footage on Pinna Way in Sunset Beach following alleged burglary and obscene act

Geraldton police are investigating a Sunset Beach burglary incident in which a suspect reportedly performed an obscene act while an occupant was home. Police are urging anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage in the vicinity of Pinna Way in Sunset Beach about 8.55pm on Wednesday, March 6 to hand it in to police to assist with an ongoing investigation. It is alleged one suspect approached a home on Pinna Way while people were home and performed an obscene act about that time. Police confirmed nothing was stolen during the incident. Officers are urging anyone who may have been in the area around that time to check their dash cam footage, or for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact Geraldton police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. No charges have been laid.
