Police have launched a public appeal for information after a man allegedly stole cash from a Geraldton butcher last month.

Sgt Steve Beswick said police were working to identify a man, pictured, who “may be able to assist police with their inquiries”.

He said the incident occurred at The Whole Hog in Northgate Shopping Centre about 5.50pm on June 17, with a man stealing cash from the business’s till.

Police are asking for the person in the above photo, or anyone who knows his identity, to contact the Geraldton Police Station on 9923 4555 and quote incident report #180621 1046 62518.
