The Rams keep the wins rolling as they continued their undefeated streak with a 13-5 win over the PIs in the women’s division 1 of the Geraldton Softball association. Stacey Dershow’s impressive pitching performance in the middle innings limited PIs’ scoring opportunities, but the standout player of the match was the young sensation Harmonie Narkle, who not only delivered a strong performance but also hit an inside-the-park home run. In another thrilling div 1 women’s game, the Marlins triumphed over the Martians 5-4 in the Saturday match. The game remained tied at four runs apiece until the end of the seventh inning, when Simone Wedgewood broke the deadlock with a crucial run-scoring hit. In the men’s div 1 matches, the Rams faced a tough challenge on Friday evening, succumbing to a 15-1 defeat against the formidable Suiside team. Cooper Jefferies pitched an outstanding game, while Liam Meharry once again proved his worth with a home run over the fence. In the other match, the Martians dominated Blaze with an 11-0 victory, securing a shutout. Women’s division 2 saw the Marlins get up in a shootout, defeating the Martians 18-14, the Marlins displayed strong hitting with 14 safe hits and only four fielding errors. Suiside shutout the Panthers in the other div 2 women’s game 9-0.. Gundawa split their double header in the men’s div 2, falling 10-8 to Martians Red before winning 11-3 against the Marlins, while Suiside beat Rams 11-1 and Blaze defeated Martians 13-6.
