Geraldton has entered its fourth day of scorching March temperatures, with the mercury reaching 40.2 degrees at noon today.

Top temperatures in the past four days have been at or around 40 degrees.

The past two nights have provided little respite, with minimum overnight temperatures around 30 degrees.

But cooler weather is coming, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

We have another warm one expected tomorrow, with a forecast top of 35 degrees, but relatively cooler maximums of 29, 28 and 25 forecast for Thursday and Friday and Saturday.
