Geraldton’s Emma Cosh cut by West Coast Fever ahead of next season

Geraldton’s Emma Cosh has not been offered a new contract by the West Coast Fever. The 30-year-old played 44 games for the Fever in four seasons with the team in the Suncorp Super Netball league, but they have let her walk ahead of the next season. Making her debut in 2020, Cosh would go on to be part of the Fever team that reached the grand final but lost by just two points. Just two years later, Cosh helped the Fever win their first premiership when they beat the Melbourne Vixens 70-59. Cosh signed a one-year-deal following their win in 2022. After playing five games in 2023, the Fever have decided to part ways with the WA/GA. On the Fever’s website, general manager Sue Gaudion thanked Cosh for her time with the club. “Coshy will always hold a special place at Fever as a maiden premiership player and the important role she played in that historic moment for our club,” Gaudion said. “She will always be part of the Fever Family and on behalf of the Green Army I want to thank her for her dedication and commitment to the club.”
