Geraldton’s Jed Hagan continues to impress at East Fremantle after making his league debut last weekend against Perth.

The Sharks crushed Perth 23.14 (152) to 9.2 (56) and the former Brigades player was not overawed by the senior call-up being named in the WAFL team of the week in his first outing.

Hagan was outstanding grabbing 20 disposals and kicking 2.1 and laying five tackles to earn himself the nomination.

It follows on from an impressive performance at the national under-18 championships where he was best on ground in their 20-point win over South Australia.

Before his league call-up Hagan had been averaging 24 disposals a game along with 5.6 marks and 8.4 tackles in the colts.

He is widely tipped by talent scouts to be drafted to the AFL when it takes place in late November.
