Geraldton’s U20 Div 3 team claims grand final win at the Fuel-2-Go & Play Association Championships in Perth

The Geraldton Netball Association had a successful long weekend at the Fuel-2-Go & Play Association Championships in Perth, winning the Under 20 Division 3 grand final.

The under-20 team defeated Narrogin & Districts 26-22 in the grand final on Monday morning to be crowned premiers.

The GNA had 11 teams in the carnival over the weekend, showing the strength of netball in the Mid West.

Meanwhile, round six of the GNA competition took place on Tuesday night.

In the Senior One, Kazuals defeated Lightning 54-43.

In the other game of the round, Pumas forfeited to Aztecs due to health and safety protocols.

Looking ahead to round seven, Pumas face Falcons at 6pm next Tuesday.

Aztecs will come up against Kazuals at 7:30pm.

Lightning have a bye for round seven.
