The final round of the GNFLW season has little in the way of jeopardy but three teams will be looking to finish the season well to build into next year while the Rams will be preparing for their finals campaign.

They will face Brigades at GBSC Sports Park and will serve as a hit-out before they take on Railways in the first week of finals.

Having lost their past two games the Rams will be keen to get the win on the board and take some momentum into their elimination final.

That is not to say they have played badly having come across the top two teams in that time and lost by a combined margin of just 11 points, including a one-point heartbreak against Chapman Valley in round 15.

But they will be frustrated they weren’t able to get the job done despite playing some excellent footy and especially letting their lead slip against the Royals.

They face an easier task this week taking on Brigades who have won just three games this season and have only scored a total of two points against the Rams in their previous meetings.

Samantha Tenardi, Kim Aldrick and Jessica Giudice-Nairn have been outstanding for the Hawks this year but they struggled to find avenues to goals averaging just over 14 points a game.

In contrast, the Rams average 35 and while they may not have the same individual firepower as the teams above them they have plenty scoring pathways across the ground and should bank a comfortable win.

Rovers will host Mullewa in the final game for both sides this season as the Saints should bank their fourth win of the season and consign the Rovers to a winless season.

Rovers have scored 80 points for the season sitting with a percentage just north of eight and have never been in any of their games this season with the exception of their clash against Brigades where they led at half-time.

Mullewa has had a tough run home facing three of the top four teams in their last three games but should have no problem finishing the season on a high note with a big win over the Demons.
