GNFLW Round 8 Preview: Ladder leaders Chapman Valley looking to continue perfect start to the season

As we approach the halfway mark of the season, the GNFLW continues this weekend with round eight of the competition on Saturday afternoon.

At Mazzuchelli Oval, top-of-the-ladder Chapman Valley face Mullewa.

The Royals are looking for their seventh consecutive win while the Saints could move up to fourth with a victory.

Up in Northampton, the Rams take on third-placed Towns at Purcher International Oval.

Brigades — fresh off their first win of the season — play bottom-of-the-ladder Rovers at GBSC Sports Park.

In reserves action, cellar dwellers Chapman Valley are up against fifth-placed Mullewa at noon.

And rwo sides at opposite ends of the ladder will battle it out as Northampton face Towns.

Finally, it’s third v fourth as Rovers take on Brigades at GBSC Sports Park.

Railways have a bye for round eight.

On Saturday morning it’s the battle of the bottom as Chapman Valley colts take on Mullewa.

While Northampton colts take on Towns, a win for the Bulldogs could have them leapfrog the Rams.

At the top of the ladder, Rovers colts face Brigades with just four points separating the sides.

Railways colts have a bye for round eight.
