Green-gold face-off

Brent Jones, 10, and Colin Woods, 11, above, may have been dressed in green and gold, but they weren’t playing for Australia.

No, the boys donned their Allendale Primary School colours for their annual face-off with Rangeway Primary School on the footy oval.

The annual match is part of Allendale’s NAIDOC Week celebrations, held every year just before the July school holidays.

Rangeway won the Barndi Mulganhu Birli Banagarri (Good Times Together Cup) 47-13.

Leon Jones and Piri Tarapu were named best players for Rangeway and Allendale respectively.
