Greenough solar construction resumes

A new contractor has been appointed to take over the stalled Greenough River Solar farm expansion.

Brisbane-based juwi Renewable Energy is taking the place of RCR O’Donnell Griffin Pty Ltd which lost the contract late last year after running into business problems not related to the Greenough River project.

Once operational, the solar farm east of Walkaway is expected to provide additional power equivalent to the average usage of more than 16,300 households.
