Kalbarri woman Krystle Maigan Westwood has COVID-related fraud charge dropped
A Kalbarri woman who was accused of attempting to bribe a Geraldton pharmacist to falsify her COVID vaccination records has had the case against her dropped.
Krystle Maigan Westwood, 34, was charged with one count of inducing a person to do an unlawful act by fraud in November last year.
She was due to stand trial after pleading not guilty to the charge.
Police alleged Ms Westwood offered the pharmacist an “unspecified” sum of money to not give her a vaccine but record that he had.
The pharmacist was alleged to have refused and the woman left the premises.
Police prosecutor Beau Jones said the charges had been dropped following negotiations.
