Ugle Fabrications La Fiamma continues to forge its path to Perth Cup glory after a resounding 6-1 victory over Hamersley United Black to secure its place in the quarterfinals.

A hat-trick from Keilin Fagan guided La Fiamma towards the win at Carine Open Space on Sunday afternoon, ensuring they were among the final eight sides in contention.

It was a shaky start for the Reds as Edee Andrews got on the board after 15 minutes of play, but from there it became a one-way street in La Fiamma’s favour.

Both sides made challenges but neither of them could break the deadlock until La Fiamma’s Carlotta Hutwohl found the back of the next and opened the flood gates.

The Flames carried that momentum and stamped their authority on the contest as another three goals were added to the tally in quick succession.

Macie Gray struck first in the 43rd minute, before Fagan slotted two quick back-to-back goals right on the edge of half-time.

With a 4-1 lead, La Fiamma kept pushing into the second half, despite a valiant fight from their opponents who simply lacked the ability to find an answer on the scoreboard.

Fagan popped up again midway through the half to complete her hat-trick and extend her side’s lead to a four goals.

Gray sent one home late in the half to finalise the 6-1 result.

The quarterfinal fixtures for the Construction Training Fund Women’s League Cup have yet to be finalised.
