Ugle Fabrications La Fiamma are back on the road again to take on Northern City this Sunday in a clash that could go a long way to securing their survival.

Northern City was supposed to meet the Reds in round two but forced the Geraldton side to reschedule their match due to a host of players being unavailable as they celebrated Ramadan.

It was part of a series of events that saw the Reds play just two games in the first five rounds of football and give them a stuttering start they’ve never really recovered from.

The Reds are now in 10th spot, just one point ahead of UWA Nedlands, and in danger of relegation.

City sit in last place with just two wins this season, five points behind Nedlands.

However, those two wins have come in their past three games and a win over the Reds would see them just three points away from safety.

The Reds have just one win in their past five and despite starting the season well away from home, they have recorded three straight losses, conceding 17 goals in the process.

With their usual home fortress being raided with an uncomfortable regularity, the Reds will have to steal points back on the road if they are to turn around this season.

La Fiamma kick off against Northern City at 3pm on Sunday.
