Ugle Fabrications La Fiamma has a rare second home game in a row at home and must make the most of it if they are to salvage something out of their 2023 season.

The Reds have lost their past four games, conceding 22 goals in the process, to tumble down the ladder.

They are now sitting in second last on the Amateur Division 3 ladder, above only the point-less Northern City.

The Reds still have a game in hand and an undetermined result from the called-off Alkimos clash but they are 18 points off top spot and 13 off second.

They have not been helped by a loss of players, with several key cogs away in the past few games resulting in some playing out of their normal positions in a test of depth that has rarely been a strong point of the Reds.

Without a single point from their home matches thus far, they need to get something out of this weekend’s clash if they want to stop their season from going completely off the rails.

The Reds still have the ability to score but as they await reinforcements to come back, patience may be the better part of valour as they must hold the line better in a defence that has proved porous in recent weeks.

La Fiamma will kick off against Subiaco at 6pm at Salvatore Sciuto Stadium.
