Last chance to vote for Geraldton to receive the first Big Rainbow landmark

Just over a week is left to vote to have the Big Rainbow landmark brought to Geraldton. The nationwide call, part of a project backed by Tinder, to find a new regional home for the Big Rainbow ends on Wednesday, April 20. The cause is accompanied by a $100,000 donation to regional community organisations to support service and programs for regional rainbow communities. Geraldton is among towns such as Hay in NSW and Bendigo in Victoria campaigning to bring the landmark to their town. Tinder Australia spokesperson Kirsty Dunn said they have received thousands of submissions already. “If you haven’t already submitted your choice of regional town to house the Big Rainbow, now’s your chance to have your voice heard,” she said.
