The Geraldton Netball Association regular season came to a close on Tuesday night as Kazuals recorded a win over the Pumas and the Lightning condemned Falcons to a winless season.

Kazuals edged out front in a high-scoring first quarter 19-18 before they increased the advantage to four goals by halftime.

But they put the game to bed in the third, outscoring the Pumas by eight goals to help them to a 74-60 victory.

They will now face the Aztecs in the qualifying final in what should be a cracking game after their one-goal loss to them in round 12.

In the later clash, Falcons were well beaten by the Lightning to finish the season winless.

The Lightning jumped to a five-goal lead at the first break and extended it during every quarter to win 52-32.

Lighting will now face Pumas in the elimination final next Tuesday.
