Lions Club markets set to return after wild weather

Lions Club of Geraldton secretary Tanya Skoglie said the wild November weather unfortunately had dampened last month’s markets, but they would be back with a (cheerful) vengeance in the lead-up to Christmas. Ms Skoglie said the club was hoping to put on face painting, doughnuts, a bouncy castle and live local music. “We just want to give people something to cheer about,” she said. She’s calling for pros and newbies to come and set up shop, and the club is only charging $10 for the pleasure. The market will be on December 12 from 8am at the Bill Sewell Complex.
