Lockier serious crash: 62-year-old man left with life-threatening head injuries in rollover near Mingenew

A 62-year-old man has been airlifted to Perth after sustaining life-threatening head injuries in a crash near Mingenew on Thursday afternoon. Major crash officers are investigating the incidents that occurred around 2.40pm on Depot Hill Road, 10km from Lockier, when a white Toyota Hilux ute travelling towards Geraldton left the road and rolled several times. The 62-year-old driver was taken to a Perth hospital by helicopter with serious head injuries. A 32-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was treated for minor injuries. Major Crash investigators urge anyone with information relating to the crash or who saw the car travelling in an area prior to the crash to contact crime stoppers.
