A 21-year-old Geraldton man has admitted causing nearly $34,000 damage to two Water Corporation trucks in Wonthella in February.

Brett Abbott today pleaded guilty to criminal damage in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court, while he awaits sentencing on two other counts of the same offence, relating to incidents in Rangeway and Spalding.

He is also awaiting sentencing on two counts of burglary and commit and four counts of stealing.

Magistrate Chris Miocevich adjourned the matter until next Monday.

“It’s deserving jail with his record, and especially damage of that amount,” Mr Miocevich said.
