A Kalbarri man has been charged after police allegedly seized 24 cannabis plants from a Kalbarri property yesterday.

Officers allegedly found the plants while executing a drug warrant in a joint operation involving Kalbarri and Northampton police.

Police will also allege they found a small amount of cannabis and a smoking implement inside the home.

The man was charged with possessing cannabis and possessing drug paraphernalia, with further charges likely to follow pending the outcome of police inquiries.

He will face Kalbarri Magistrate’s Court on October 11.
