A man has pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing cannabis amounting to 281 grams but had a possession with intent to sell or supply charge discontinued.

Clinton Paul Niese appeared in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court today to face the three charges, stemming from an incident on May 31 in Wandina.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Carey Owen told the court the prosecution wished to discontinue the charge of intent to sell or supply.

A written pre-sentence report was ordered and Mr Niese would reappear in Perth Magistrate’s Court for sentencing on September 26.
