Man seriously injured in car rollover

Police say a man was seriously injured when a car left the road and rolled several times between Geraldton and Mullewa last night.

The 22-year-old from Mt Magnet was a passenger in a white Ford Ranger utility travelling along the Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road.

The accident happened about 9.15pm about 60km from Mullewa.

The man was thrown from the car when it rolled and was taken to Geraldton Hospital for treatment.

Police said the driver, a 29-year-old Mt Tarcoola man, suffered minor injuries.

Mid West-Gascoyne Traffic officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
