Mid West businesses share in grants worth more than $750,000
Businesses in the Mid West have been given more than $750,000 in State Government funding this morning.
Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan announced the Regional Economic Development grants at Geraldton’s Bill Sewell complex.
The eight businesses include Abrolhos Island Oysters and Australian Pearling Company; Dongara’s Illegal Tender Rum; the National Trust; Shire of Northampton; Dongara Marine; Carnamah’s One L of a Good Feed Catering & Events; Chapman Valley Fishing Park and the Shire of Irwin.
The Minister said the grants provided the opportunity to focus on community-led projects to boost the regional economy, create jobs and help grow Western Australia’s regional areas into thriving and sustainable communities.
